Sidewalk Chalk Expirience

My group and I, coming up with ideas for our flag.
To start out the year, everyone in the E-Comm program met up in the raven's nest and was paired up with at least four people. I did not know anyone in my group but all three of them were very nice to me which was relieving. When we were told that we would be designing a flag for our group, I panicked because i didn't know much about my group. After talking it out with my group and looking at all the different symbols and their meanings, we all figured out that we all love animals. We decided that each of us would use an animal as our symbol. I decided to use a lion as my symbol because lions represent courage. The other animals my group used was a phoenix, a bird, and a unicorn.
We each sketched out our own animals individually, and the next day we drew a layout as to how we wanted to draw our flag in the courtyard. The final day was kind of a mess because to start off, one of our group members was absent which meant we had to think of a different layout. After doing that, we came up with a color scheme to use for our flag. We decided to use warm colors (red, orange, yellow) because we felt that those colors would match perfectly with our animals. Once we got outside to the courtyard, my group

and I looked for a good place to draw our flag.
The one thing my team needed to work on was communication. We each started doing our own thing when we got outside and we didn't realize that one of our drawings was upside down. Obviously, that kind of messed up our flag but chalk sadly does not erase so we just had to go with it. Drawing with chalk is a lot harder than it seems. I honestly thought it was going to be easy but it was not easy to get details in because of how thick the chalk is. My team didn't finish in time, which meant that we didn't fill up the square. I think if we would've had more time, our flag would've turned out really cool.
