Wizard Of Oz Poster |
For this project my class re-designed a poster from 'The Wizard Of Oz'. To make this poster we had to use the principles of C.A.R.P. Here are the ways I used C.A.R.P in my poster.
Contrast
- I used a balance of colors in the fonts so the poster wasn't plain.
- The more important information like the title was made larger. This makes sure that it can catch the viewers eye so they can look more into it.
- I also made the graphic a different color and lowered the transparency so it would stand out but not too much.
Alignment
- I placed the title at the top with a center alignment because I thought that looked best with the layout of the poster.
- I aligned all of the text to be parallel to something else.
- The minor text at the bottom was right aligned to show it was important but minor.
Repetition
- I repeated the yellow/gold color onto the text that came from the yellow brick road on the background.
- I repeated most fonts at least twice.
- I also repeated the color white on the text and on the graphic that was given to us to use.
Proximity
- For the most part, all of the fonts and graphics have a good amount of space.
- All of the information is grouped so the viewer knows what to look for easily.
